Job summary

Tipsea Turtle is seeking an experienced Housekeeping lead to maintain guest rooms, villas, and public areas to resort quality standards. You will oversee laundry, linen management, and inventory control while coordinating with Front Office and Engineering for room status and repairs.

The role requires leading, training, and motivating housekeeping staff, creating daily/weekly schedules, and fostering a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Maintain guest rooms, villas, public areas and resort facilities in clean condition per quality standards.
• Conduct regular daily inspections of rooms ready for occupancy and public areas.
• Manage laundry operations, linen management, and inventory control.
• Lead, train, evaluate, and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Prepare daily/weekly staff schedules based on occupancy levels.
• Foster a safe, harmonious, and productive work environment.
• Monitor usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and guest amenities.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering for room status and repairs.
• Handle guest complaints or requests regarding room cleanliness promptly.

Job description

o Ensure that all guest rooms, villas, public areas, and resort facilities are maintained in a clean condition in accordance with resort quality standards.

o Conduct regular daily inspections of rooms ready for occupancy ("ready rooms") and public areas.

o Manage and oversee laundry operations, linen management, and inventory control.

o Lead, train, evaluate, and motivate all Housekeeping staff (Housekeeping Supervisor, Room Attendant, Public Area, Laundry).

o Prepare daily/weekly staff schedules based on resort occupancy levels.

o Foster a safe, harmonious, and productive work environment.

Budget & Inventory Management:

o Monitor the usage of cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, and guest amenities.

o Conduct regular inventory control for linens, towels, amenities, and operational machinery/equipment.

o Prepare the annual Housekeeping department budget and control operational costs.

o Work closely with the Front Office department regarding room status and special guest requests.

o Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance department for repairs to the building structure, furnishings, and room facilities.

o Handle guest complaints or requests regarding room cleanliness promptly and professionally.
