Job summary

LMN VFX in Jakarta is seeking a Crowds (Houdini) Lead to set the artistic and technical direction for crowd simulations and to guide a team toward production-ready results. You will oversee large-scale simulations, define behavioral systems, and ensure timely delivery across departments such as Animation, Layout, Lighting, and FX.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and deep knowledge of pipeline integration and performance optimization.

Ability to plan, assign, and monitor workloads under deadlines.
Experience with crowd simulations and Houdini tooling.

Responsibilities

Define artistic and technical direction for crowd simulations and review team work for quality and readiness.
Oversee creation of large-scale crowd simulations, procedural agents, and behavior systems.
Plan, assign, and monitor workload to meet production milestones.
Collaborate with Animation, Layout, Lighting, FX and other departments for seamless integration.
Identify and resolve creative/technical challenges while optimizing performance.
Drive improvements to crowd pipelines, tools, automation, and knowledge sharing.
