Job summary

Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya is seeking a Safety & Security Manager to oversee security operations, develop policies, and lead the safety team. You will ensure guest, staff, and property safety while coordinating with emergency services and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, risk assessment, emergency planning, and staff training to maintain Hilton's hospitality standards and a secure environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in safety and security management, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and training teams.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, emergency planning, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Relevant certifications in safety management, first aid, CPR, and fire safety.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the safety and security team; manage scheduling and emergencies.
• Oversee daily security operations; conduct risk assessments and preventive measures.
• Develop and execute emergency protocols; coordinate with emergency services.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations and hotel standards through audits.
• Deliver ongoing safety training and drills to staff.
• Investigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a cohesive safety strategy.
