Job summary

Novotel Jakarta Cikini is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to proactively identify and convert opportunities across social events, private events and MICE. You will maximize room sales, foster strong agency partnerships, and drive revenue through food & beverage and events.

The role requires Indonesian citizenship, a Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management, and at least 2 years in a similar capacity with strong English and MS Office skills. Join a dynamic hotel team in central Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management.
• Indonesian citizen only.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills.
• Good communication and customer contact skills.
• Service oriented with an eye for details.
• Ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
• A team player and self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities across social events, private events, agencies and associations.
• Generate new private and social event enquiries including MICE and residential meetings.
• Create and convert social event opportunities such as weddings, parties and corporate events.
• Maximize accommodation room sales and incremental revenue across F&B and MICE.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs relating to appointments and client interaction.
• Manage an agreed portfolio of accounts to retain and develop revenue opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with agencies, associations and event planners.
• Target key market sectors including healthcare, automotive and brand activations.
• Support hotel promotions through local partnerships and campaigns.
• Coordinate with Corporate & Strategic Accounts and Sales Marketing for campaigns.
• Conduct client appointments, site inspections and hotel show rounds.
• Attend sales meetings and domestically/internationally travel as required.
• Maintain accurate reports on sales activities and opportunities.
