Job summary

The Balangan Hotel is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspection and repair of hotel facilities and equipment. You will handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical tasks to keep guest areas and back-of-house spaces in good condition.

You will respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, document issues, assist with preventive maintenance, and follow safety procedures to ensure a safe guest environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to urgent maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Handle basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Identify and report equipment or facility problems to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are in good condition.
• Maintain proper tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Follow hotel safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Keep the engineering and maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Support the Engineering team with other maintenance tasks as required.
