Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment; cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools and equipment; identify, locate and operate shut-off valves and other safety features.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC components; replace fittings and components as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies; communicate activities to other shifts.
