The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Healthcare Management or related field and at least 8 years in senior healthcare leadership, with a track record of managing large, multi-department hospitals and driving organisational growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Healthcare Management or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of senior management experience in healthcare.
• Experience leading a hospital or large healthcare organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all hospital operations including clinical and administrative functions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures compliant with Indonesian healthcare regulations.
• Oversee financial management, budget planning, resource allocation, and cost controls.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and clinical excellence across departments.
• Manage relationships with medical staff, consultants and healthcare professionals.
• Lead HR activities including recruitment, performance management, and culture building.
• Monitor KPIs and drive quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Represent the hospital at stakeholder meetings and regulatory bodies.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Hospital Director to lead our healthcare facility. This is a full-time position that represents a pivotal leadership role within our organisation. As Hospital Director, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and overall performance of the hospital. You will oversee all clinical and administrative functions, ensuring the facility meets regulatory requirements whilst delivering exceptional patient care and achieving organisational objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, drive continuous improvement, and position the hospital as a centre of excellence within the region.

Key responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership and direction for all hospital operations, including clinical services, nursing, support services, and administrative functions
• Developing and implementing hospital policies, procedures, and protocols that comply with healthcare regulations and standards
• Overseeing financial management, budget planning, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure operational sustainability and profitability
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining clinical excellence across all departments
• Managing relationships with medical staff, consultants, and healthcare professionals to foster collaborative and productive working environments
• Leading human resources management, including recruitment, staff development, performance management, and organisational culture building
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing quality assurance programmes to measure and improve hospital performance
• Representing the hospital at stakeholder meetings, community engagement initiatives, and regulatory bodies
• Driving innovation and implementing new healthcare technologies and best practices to enhance service delivery
• Managing risk, compliance, and safety protocols across all hospital operations

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field; medical degree with healthcare management qualifications is preferred
• Minimum 8+ years of senior management experience in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a hospital director or equivalent executive leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex healthcare organisations with multiple departments and diverse staffing
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements in Indonesia
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimisation
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
• Strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to drive organisational growth and innovation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all organisational levels
• Experience in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and clinical governance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Knowledge of healthcare technology systems and digital transformation is advantageous
