Job summary

Foom Lab Global in Bogor invites a highly skilled Horticulturalist to join its Research & Development team in a hybrid work setting. You will design trials, analyze data, and collaborate across disciplines to advance new plant varieties and cultivation methods.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Horticulture or related field with 5+ years of hands-on research experience, strong knowledge of plant physiology and genetics, and proven skills in experimental design and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in horticulture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in horticultural research or plant science.
• Strong knowledge of plant physiology, genetics, and breeding.
• Experience with experimental design, data collection, and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute horticultural research trials to evaluate new plant varieties, fertilizers, and growing techniques.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to guide product development.
• Develop propagation, cultivation, and pest management protocols.
• Collaborate with breeders, agronomists, and marketing to align research with business goals.
• Maintain detailed records ensuring data integrity.
• Stay current with literature and new technologies in horticulture.
