Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. seeks a Product Assurance Specialist to ensure products and components are tested per established protocols. You will develop test methods, maintain ERP-based procedures, evaluate results, and deliver comprehensive test reports.

You will lead quality control activities, mentor a team, and promote safety and regulatory compliance across testing operations. Strong background in high voltage testing and PFMEA is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and relevant technical background.
• Experience with high voltage electrical testing.
• Knowledge of regulatory IEC/IEEE standards and HSE requirements.
• Experience in PFMEA and product/process control planning.
• Familiarity with SPC, capability analysis, CtQ and SOP practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control, inspection, and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement quality control strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor a team of quality professionals; provide training and guidance.
• Maintain SOPs and quality documents; reduce process risks.
• Execute test methods, plans, and maintenance of test equipment.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data and collaborate with Eng, Production, and CI teams.
