Job summary

Confidential, an international engineering and consulting group, seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a Data Center project in Indonesia. You will oversee daily on-site electrical installation activities, quality inspections, and adherence to HSE procedures to ensure safe and compliant execution.

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Manager, you will coordinate interfaces with mechanical, ELV, and civil teams, manage documentation, and assist in pre-commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical installation supervision on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Practical knowledge of LV/HV electrical installations, cable systems and power distribution equipment.
• Familiarity with Indonesian electrical inspection requirements (PUIL 2011).
• Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams, cable schedules and layout drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site electrical installation activities including cable management, containment, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Conduct daily quality inspections of electrical works and witness ITP hold points.
• Verify that electrical materials and equipment comply with approved submittals and specifications.
• Ensure workers adhere to HSE procedures and safe isolation practices.
• Coordinate with other discipline supervisors to manage interface activities.
• Maintain site records including diaries, inspection sheets, and non-conformance reports.
• Report progress, quality issues, and safety observations to the Senior Electrical Manager.
• Coordinate contractor workforce deployment and track daily outputs.
• Support pre-commissioning checks and handover to commissioning team.
• Assist in managing material logistics and ensuring availability of electrical equipment on-site.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor oversees the day-to-day installation, inspection, and quality assurance of all electrical works on the Data Center construction site in Indonesia. Working under the Senior Electrical Manager, this role ensures that LV/HV electrical installations are carried out safely, to specification, and in accordance with the approved inspection and test plan.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical knowledge of LV/HV electrical installations, cable systems, and power distribution equipment.
• Familiarity with PUIL 2011 and Indonesian electrical inspection requirements.
• Experience on Data Center, industrial plant, or critical infrastructure electrical works preferred.
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering; K3 Listrik certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia; working English literacy preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and understanding of electrical safe work practices.
• Ability to supervise multiple electrical trades simultaneously in a busy site environment.
