Job summary

Manulife is seeking an analytics professional to monitor health claims performance and deliver recurring insights. The role requires synthesizing data from TPAs, providers, and internal systems to highlight drivers of cost and utilization.

You will maintain data pipelines and reporting assets while supporting ad‑hoc analyses for cross‑team initiatives. A quantitative degree and 2–5 years in health analytics are expected, with BI visualization experience in Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• Typically 2–5 years of analytics experience, ideally within health insurance, actuarial functions, or data-heavy operational environments.
• Deep exposure to health insurance data or medical coding (ICD, CPT, procedure codes) is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health claims performance and deliver high‑quality recurring analytics outputs to detect trends in costs, utilization, and risk.
• Synthesize data from TPAs, providers, and internal systems into structured insights for decision‑making.
• Maintain and enhance data pipelines, processing logic, and reporting assets for efficiency and scalability.
• Deliver high‑quality ad‑hoc analyses for cross‑team initiatives and broader business priorities.
