Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a Procurement Senior Manager to lead sourcing, tendering, evaluation and supplier governance in Jakarta. You will ensure compliance with procurement policies, coordinate cross‑functional risk processes, and drive value through competitive sourcing and process improvements.

The role requires extensive leadership, negotiation skills and ERP experience to support a high‑reliability procurement function within a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or related field.
• 8–10 years in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management or related control functions.
• Experience implementing a Procurement ERP system (e.g., SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, supplier selection and PO governance.
• Maintain procurement governance, templates, controls and documentation.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Info Security for third‑party risk.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement to implement initiatives and improvements.
• Coach and develop the Procurement team through planning and performance management.
