Job summary

Seven Retail Group is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven VP Operations & Strategy to lead operational excellence and business transformation across one of our Business Units in Jakarta. You will drive efficiency, scale performance, and translate company strategy into impactful initiatives.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to ensure the Business Unit achieves its operational, financial, and strategic objectives, manage KPIs and P&L, and build scalable processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Management, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, Management Consulting, Business Transformation, or General Management roles.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence, scaling business operations, and leading strategic initiatives.
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and operational improvements to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with Seven Retail’s overall vision and long-term objectives.
• Analyze business performance, operational bottlenecks, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
• Oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficient processes, strong execution, and operational excellence across functions.
• Build operational frameworks, SOPs, and scalable processes to improve productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage key business metrics, KPIs, and financial performance to ensure targets are achieved.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and People teams to drive alignment and execution.
• Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation to maintain a healthy P&L.
• Drive data-driven decision making through business insights, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Build and lead a high-performing team by fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead strategic discussions and negotiations with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders when required.
