Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Head of Infrastructure to lead the full civil infrastructure and utility delivery for a large-scale resort development in South Lombok, Indonesia. You will oversee planning, engineering review, construction, commissioning, handover, and team leadership, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project completion with a focus on long-term operational success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects with multiple procurement and construction work packages.
Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role managing complex infrastructure developments such as integrated townships, master-planned estates, or mixed-use projects.
Strong hands-on experience with earthworks, roads, drainage systems, stormwater infrastructure, retaining structures, slope stabilization, and utility installations.
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, geotechnical considerations, structural risks, contractor performance, scheduling, and QA/QC.
Experience coordinating utility infrastructure including electrical distribution, water systems, CCTV, and telecom services.
Proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6) and reviewing CAD drawings (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
Fluent in English with ability to communicate with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure and utility packages, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and alignment with the master plan.
Review engineering surveys, designs, specifications, and construction docs to identify constructability issues and project risks.
Develop, manage, and monitor infrastructure schedules, budgets, procurement, risks, and delivery performance.
Coordinate multiple contractors, consultants, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors across concurrent work packages.
Establish and enforce QA/QC, HSE standards throughout construction activities.
Oversee commissioning and testing of electrical, water, drainage, CCTV, and telecom systems before handover.
Monitor progress, contractor performance, cost control, procurement dependencies, and risks; implement corrective actions.
Prepare executive reports on schedules, budgets, progress, risks, and decisions.
