Job summary

Bluebirdgroup seeks a Head of Information Security to lead security strategy, build and manage a SOC-ready team, and drive incident response excellence. You will define policies, oversee monitoring, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience, strong knowledge of NIST/ISO27001 frameworks, and excellent executive communication to align security with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience building security teams and policies from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of security tools and ROI evaluation for tech investments.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO27001 frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or OSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop security roadmap and organizational security architecture.
• Recruit and lead an internal security team for SOC activities.
• Define and execute incident response procedures.
• Ensure logs/alerts are monitored for rapid threat detection.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and periodic risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Developasecurityroadmapandorganizationalsecurityarchitecturethatprioritizescriticalrisksinaphasedandstructuredmanner.
• Recruit,build,train,andleadaninternalsecurityteamresponsibleformonitoring,alerting,threathunting,andmanagingSecurityOperationsCenter(SOC)activities.
• Defineandexecuteincidentresponseprocedurestoensuretimelyandeffectivehandlingofsecurityincidents.
• Ensurethatlogsandalertsfromvarioussecuritytoolsareeffectivelymonitoredtoenablerapidthreatdetection.
• Ensurecompliancewithregulatoryrequirementsandconductperiodicriskassessmentsacrosstheorganization.

Requirements

• Minimumof7yearsofexperienceinCybersecurity,withatleast3yearsinaleadershiprole(Manager/Headlevel).
• Provenexperienceinbuildingsecurityteamsanddevelopingsecuritypoliciesfromthegroundup.
• Deepunderstandingofthesecuritytoolsecosystem,withtheabilitytoevaluatecostversusbenefit(ROI)fortechnologyinvestments.
• StrongmasteryofsecurityframeworkssuchasNIST,MITREATT&CK,andISO27001,alongwithsolidknowledgeofnetworkingandoperatingsystems.
• ProfessionalcertificationssuchasCISSP,CISM,orOSCParehighlypreferredandconsideredastrongadvantage.
• Excellentcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoclearlyarticulatetechnicalriskstoexecutiveleadershipandcollaborateeffectivelyacrossdepartments.
