Job summary

Pou Chen Group Indonesia is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our factory teams. You will maintain and repair buildings, facilities, and utilities, ensuring reliable operations across production lines.

You will service equipment such as air compressors, pumps, HVAC, and water systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; lead technicians and coordinate with other departments. The role requires 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, strong problem solving,

Qualifications

• Minimum SMK/D3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field; additional technical certs are a plus.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience as Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Experience in footwear, garment or related industries is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise a team of mechanics/technicians.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair factory buildings, facilities, and utilities to ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain equipment such as air compressors, pumps, HVAC, ventilation, water systems, and drainage.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Handle basic mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, and plumbing tasks.
• Support production and engineering teams with facility and mechanical issues.
• Assist with machine installation, relocation, and facility preparation.
• Monitor spare parts and tools inventory; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain accurate maintenance reports.
• Lead and coordinate mechanics/technicians and distribute daily tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum SMK/D3 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Additional technical certification is an advantage).
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, Engineering Technician, or similar position.
• Experience in the footwear or shoe manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Experience in garment, textile, automotive, or other manufacturing industries is also acceptable.
• Able to manage and coordinate a large number of mechanics/technicians.
• Able to monitor team performance and work progress.
• Able to coordinate with Production, Engineering, Safety, and other departments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Able to identify the root cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
• Able to work under pressure, especially during production breakdowns and urgent maintenance situations.
• Able to prioritize multiple maintenance requests based on urgency and production impact.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
