Job summary

Memory Life is seeking an experienced Product Development & Design Manager to lead the baby and kids apparel product development team. You will translate the company vision into commercially viable collections and manage the end-to-end process from concept to production-ready lines.

You will oversee design leadership, collaborate with suppliers and partners, ensure quality, budgets, and launches align with strategic goals, and report progress directly to the Founder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in apparel product development.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a design or product development team.
• Hands-on experience in apparel development is a must.
• Strong knowledge of materials, garment construction, and production processes.
• Experience in seasonal collection planning and cost/price management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product collection plans including categories, designs, materials, pricing, and timelines.
• Translate the founder's vision into clear briefs and actionable design directions.
• Lead and manage product analysts and designers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct market and competitor research including overseas sourcing.
• Oversee end-to-end development from concept to final product launch.
• Coordinate with suppliers, technical experts, purchasing, finance, marketing, and sales.
• Evaluate costing, margins, material quality, supplier capabilities, and feasibility.
• Maintain product specifications, documentation, and approvals.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Founder with challenges and solutions.
