Job summary

PT SURYA SEMESTA INTERNUSA TBK is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to lead HDPE piping and water utility projects. You will supervise on-site construction, coordinate with engineering, procurement and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and HSE standards.

The role requires 8–12 years in utilities/piping, with strong pipe network installation experience. Site-based position with travel to project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 8–12 years of construction experience in utilities/piping
• Strong HDPE piping and pipe network installation experience
• Experience with water treatment/water supply/wastewater systems preferred
• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to read engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts and specifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction of utility infrastructure (HDPE piping, pipe networks, water treatment systems).
• Manage construction activities from site prep to handover.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, method statements, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, subcontractors, consultants and other teams.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment and productivity to targets.
• Review and resolve technical issues related to piping, connections, testing and utility systems.
• Ensure inspection, testing, documentation and as-built records are completed.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and rework
