Job summary

Lancesoft Indonesia is seeking a motivated Go backend engineer to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using the Gin framework. You will optimize data access with GORM/SQLX and work across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including Temporal workflows for durable processes.

Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps to ensure robust API contracts, distributed services, and reliable deployment. 1–3 years of Go experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years writing Go professionally.
• Experience with Gin or similar frameworks.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL; strong SQL and joins.
• Experience with ORMs (GORM) and raw SQL.
• Familiar with Docker, Git.
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/NATS/Redis Streams).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Go using the Gin framework.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, DataScience, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• 1–3 years writing Go professionally (internships and serious side projects count toward the lower end)
• Working knowledge of goroutines, channels, context, and Go's error handling — not just syntax, but when concurrency helps and when it hurts
• Built REST APIs with Gin, Echo, Fiber, or Chi
• Comfortable with an ORM (GORM ideally) and able to write plain SQL when needed
• Solid PostgreSQL fundamentals: joins, transac ons, indexes, and why a query is slow
• Git and basic Docker g. Reads documentation independently and asks good questions when stuck

Secondary Qualifications

• SQLX or other non-ORM database libraries
• Temporal, or any workflow/orchestration engine
• Personal projects or open-source contributions in Go
