Job summary

Lancesoft Indonesia is seeking a motivated Go backend engineer to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using the Gin framework. You will optimize data access with GORM/SQLX and work across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including Temporal workflows for durable processes.

Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps to ensure robust API contracts, distributed services, and reliable deployment. 1–3 years of Go experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years writing Go professionally.
• Experience with Gin or similar frameworks.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL; strong SQL and joins.
• Experience with ORMs (GORM) and raw SQL.
• Familiar with Docker, Git.
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/NATS/Redis Streams).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Go using the Gin framework.
• Model and optimize data access layers with GORM and/or SQLX, including raw SQL when performance requires it
• Design schemas, write migrations, and tune queries across PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Implement durable, long-running business processes as Temporal workflows and activities including retries, timeouts, compensation logic, and idempotency
• Build asynchronous, event-driven services using message queues (RabbitMQ / Kafka / NATS / Redis Streams) producers, consumers, dead-le er handling, and backpressure
• Write unit and integra on tests; participate in code review
• Instrument services with structured logging, metrics, and tracing; help debug production incidents
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps on API contracts and deployment
