Job summary

SIGMATECH is seeking a Go-focused software engineer in Jakarta to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Gin. You will develop data access layers with GORM, SQLX, and raw SQL, and design schemas with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

You’ll implement Temporal workflows, build event-driven services with RabbitMQ/Kafka/NATS, write tests, and contribute to logging, metrics, and production troubleshooting while collaborating with Product, Frontend, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE/DS or related field, GPA 3.00+
• 1–3 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in Go development and building RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Go using Gin.
• Develop and optimize data access layers with GORM, SQLX, and raw SQL.
• Design schemas, write migrations, and optimize queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Implement durable Temporal workflows and retries, timeouts, and idempotency.
• Build asynchronous, event-driven services using RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, or Redis Streams.
• Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Implement structured logging, metrics, tracing, and production incident troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and DevOps on API contracts and deployment.
