Job summary

The British American Tobacco Group in Malang, Indonesia is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager-COE to lead end-to-end sourcing, supplier selection and contract negotiations. You will work closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure launches are delivered at optimal cost and quality.

This role emphasises global governance, dual sourcing strategies, and robust risk management. Successful candidates will have packaging/ME category experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record in

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
• CIPS or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Lean / IWS methodology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end sourcing across NPD and BAU, incl. strategy, tendering, negotiation, contracting.
• Define and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with productivity and cost objectives.
• Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to support launches at optimal cost and quality.
• Enable dual sourcing and platforming strategies through robust supplier selection.
• Lead supplier selection, SRM and performance management using digital tools.
• Drive cost optimization via should-cost modelling, VSM and IWS.
• Lead global contract negotiations and lifecycle management via iCertis.
• Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans to mitigate risks and boost resilience.
• Drive ESG and sustainable procurement, including CO2 reduction and waste minimization.
• Act as COE interface for alignment across global stakeholders.
