Job summary

PT PERSOL RECRUITMENT INDONESIA is assisting a Japanese trading client in Jakarta to recruit a Sales Staff for rubber and chemical products. The role is work-from-office in Jakarta, with duties to introduce new products, grow the client base, and maintain relationships with customers.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong English, and excellent communication. Sales experience is preferred, and knowledge of import/export operations is a plus; SIM A or SIM C is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• Excellent command of English for business communication.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Propose new products and expand the business to new clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify their needs.
• Visit clients both domestically and overseas when necessary.
• Prepare and submit quotations (material pricing) to customers.
• Manage inventory and demand data, reporting to suppliers (both domestic and overseas).
• Negotiate with suppliers for cost reductions and other related matters.
• Conduct and collect environmental survey data from clients.
• Oversee import/export-related tasks when necessary.
