Job summary

UPM is seeking a Production Assistant to join our terminal operations in Cikarang, Bekasi, Indonesia. The role supports the Terminal Manager, assists with production planning, scheduling, and daily reporting, and coordinates with engineering, IT, sales, and customer service to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 2–4 years of related experience, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in production, operations or supervision.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing terminal operation and support Terminal Manager.
• Prepare daily production schedules and reports; monitor staff performance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, IT, Sales, and Customer Service to meet production needs.
• Maintain SOPs, safety standards, and workplace organization.
• Manage stock of indirect materials and spare parts; coordinate with suppliers.
