Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a SETTOMS Marine Traffic Controller Staff for the Sorong operation. The role involves reporting ship operations, handling cargo receiving steps, and ensuring cargo and document accuracy in daily shipping tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 3 years as 3 C/O.
• Excellent in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Regularly report day to day activity related to ship operations starting from cargo receiving activities on board.
• Report if there are any problems when carrying out shipping operations.
• Check various documents, such as delivery documents, invoices, also other documents related to shipping operations.
• Optimize utilisation of resources and prepare ship position updates.
• Update relevant stakeholders on daily task such as: ship activities, personnel, refinery and fleet changes.
• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
