Job summary

PT. Biofactory Teknika Uama in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage full sets of accounts for subsidiaries and ensure timely closings. The role requires IFRS/MFRS knowledge and coordination with external auditors.

The candidate should have 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm, and possess strong Excel skills. Willingness to travel to Singapore and Malaysia for periodic inventory reconciliation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA, etc).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Able to work under pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts for all subsidiaries with timely monthly closings.
• Assist in preparation of Invoice, DO, quotation when requested.
• Oversea AR and AP
• Process Staff Claim and payroll
• Prepare financial statements and reports under IFRS and MFRS
• Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries and other external parties.
