Job summary

Proforest seeks an experienced Global Communications Lead to shape and deliver a strategic, global communications vision. The role leads a geographically dispersed network across five regions, translating sustainability knowledge into clear, engaging content for clients and partners.

With a decade of experience in communications or related fields, you will drive brand narrative, supervise regional teams, and guide executives on priorities, performance, and risk in a rapidly evolving information

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in communications, marketing or knowledge management.
• Experience working across multiple cultural backgrounds and with diverse teams.
• Proven track record managing teams and mentoring staff.
• Experience in leading change and managing complex projects.
• Experience translating technical/sustainability topics into accessible content.
• Strong written English and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in additional Proforest working languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia).
• Degree or higher degree in Communications or a relevant topic.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global communications strategy aligned with Proforest's organizational strategy and regional plans.
• Steward Proforest's brand, narrative and messaging for a coherent global framework.
• Harness and promote Proforest's thought leadership.
• Advise the Global Executive Board on communications priorities and risks.
