Job summary

PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park seeks a seasoned General Practitioner to join the site medical team. You will manage emergencies and provide high-standard care in a remote, fast-paced industrial setting, directly impacting workforce health and operational continuity.

Ideal candidates hold an MD with ATLS/ACLS/Hiperkes certifications and have 5+ years of GP experience, preferably in mining or remote sites. FIFO travel, accommodation, and premium meals are provided on a rostered basis.

Qualifications

• MD degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as General Practitioner.
• Mandatory certifications: ATLS, ACLS, and Hiperkes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Handle emergency and critical cases within an industrial workplace setting.
• Conduct medical check-ups, health surveillance, and fitness-for-work assessments.
• Support and execute occupational health programs aligned with company standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external medical teams, including referrals when necessary.
• Drive health promotion, disease prevention, and safety awareness across the workforce.
• Ensure full compliance with health regulations and company safety protocols.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable General Practitioner (GP) to join our site medical team. This role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-demand environments, capable of handling emergency cases, and delivering high-standard medical care in a remote industrial setting. This is not a routine clinical role - you will be operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your decisions directly impact workforce health, safety, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical services including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Handle emergency and critical cases within an industrial workplace setting
