Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Purwakarta seeks a dedicated pediatric nurse to deliver comprehensive care for neonatal through adolescent patients. You will assess, plan, and implement care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety and family-centered support.

The role requires a Bachelor of Nursing with active STR registration and at least 1 year of Level I clinical nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or NICU/PICU settings. Training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Nursing and Ners Professional Program (S.Kep., Ns.)
• Must hold an active lifetime Registration Certificate (STR)
• Have minimum 1 year work experience as a Level I Clinical Nurse.
• Preferred: Experienced and certified nurses in Pediatric Ward, NICU, PICU, Pediatric Emergency, or related pediatric services.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric nursing care for neonatal, infant, child, and adolescent patients in accordance with hospital standards and patient safety regulations.
• Prepare facilities and equipment for pediatric care to ensure safe, effective, child-friendly services.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor vital signs, growth, development, nutritional status, and treatment responses.

Job Description

• Responsible for providing comprehensive pediatric nursing care and services for neonatal, infant, child, and adolescent patients in accordance with hospital standards, nursing practice standards, and patient safety regulations
• Prepare medical facilities and equipment required for pediatric patient care to ensure safe, effective, and child-friendly services
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor pediatric patients’ physical and psychological conditions, including vital signs, growth and development, nutritional status, and response to treatment
• Deliver nursing care based on pediatric nursing standards and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in managing patient care plans
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures by preparing pediatric patients physically and psychologically, while ensuring comfort and emotional support for both patients and families
• Educate patients’ families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, nutrition, home care instructions, and child health promotion as needed
• Provide therapeutic communication and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families to create a safe and supportive care environment
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, reporting systems, and patient medical records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety procedures, including infection prevention and control practices in pediatric services
• Participate in mandatory training, competency development programs, and continuing nursing education related to pediatric care
