Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Gas Turbine Component Repair QC Inspector in Purwakarta. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of gas turbine components, including visual, dimensional, and NDT checks, and provide repair recommendations based on findings.

You will review results, prepare inspection reports, and support metallurgy and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in gas turbine component repair inspection.
• Valid NDT PT Level II certification (Red Dye Penetrant & FPI).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proficiency in using measuring and inspection tools.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with metallographic prep and analysis techniques.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of gas turbine components.
• Review inspection results and provide repair recommendations.
• Perform metallographic evaluations including cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, etching.
• Ensure inspections align with procedures and quality requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
