Sulzer Indonesia is seeking a Sr. Production Technician to assemble, test, and inspect gas turbine components, ensuring quality and safety standards. This role works independently on complex tasks, supports troubleshooting, and may guide junior technicians.

You will perform chemical stripping, grit blasting, and shot peening, support fixture inspection and assembly, and uphold strict repair procedures and safety policies in a collaborative workshop environment.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in abrasive blasting and shot peening for gas turbine components.
• Experience with chemical stripping processes is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and support cross-functional workshop activities.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification is an advantage.

About the role

Job Summary

The Sr. Production Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting manufactured goods to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role works independently on complex tasks, supports troubleshooting, and may guide junior technicians. This job profile is intended for experienced support-level staff that generally works autonomously and only requires closer supervision in non-routine situations.

• Support other workshop activities, including fixture inspection, component assembly/disassembly, material handling, and loading/unloading tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
