Standard Chartered seeks a precise Fund Accountant to manage post-trade lifecycle, NAV calculation, valuation, and reconciliation for funds held in custody. You will ensure regulatory reporting and safeguard client assets while maintaining strict controls.

With 3-5 years in fund accounting, you will support audits, coordinate with managers, auditors, and clients. The role emphasises AML adherence, accuracy, and efficiency in a global banking environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of fund accounting experience in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital markets and financial instruments.
• Familiarity with fund regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver daily, monthly, and periodic fund accounting reports including NAV calculations.
• Ensure timely regulatory reporting to authorities such as OJK and stakeholders.
• Perform fund valuation, portfolio reconciliation, and transaction monitoring.
• Review and authorize fund-related payments and operational transactions.
• Coordinate with fund managers, clients, auditors, and internal teams.
• Support annual audits by preparing financial information and responding to requests.
• Monitor compliance with regulations, policies, and controls.
• Assist in process improvements, testing, and efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for governance and audits.
