Job summary

PT Ruang Raya Indonesia (Ruangguru) is seeking an experienced English teacher to plan and deliver high-quality lessons for learners ranging from young children to adults. You will develop engaging plans, use diverse teaching methods, and monitor progress, while maintaining attendance and performance records.

You will also mentor freelance teachers, observe classes, and ensure adherence to standards and schedules, with opportunities to teach offline at the English Academy Center in Blitar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Has experience in teaching English, preferably for young learners (3-18 years old).
• TOEFL/IELTS certification is a plus.
• Able to mentor and support fellow teachers.
• Good communications in English (verbal and written).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Committed to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies.
• Willing to teach offline at English Academy Center.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students (young learners to adults).
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans for varying proficiency levels.

• Mentor and support freelance teachers with planning, classroom management, and teaching techniques.
• Observe freelance teachers’ classes and provide actionable feedback to improve performance.
• Ensure freelance teachers adhere to English Academy's standards and policies.

• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular reports and updates.

Class Administration:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
• Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other assessment tools.

• Handle classroom management, ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment.
