Job summary

PT Lentera Bangsa Benderang is seeking a skilled backend engineer to work on Go-based services and React web applications. You will design, implement, and optimize distributed systems that serve millions of users across Southeast Asia, while collaborating with product and infrastructure teams.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Go and ReactJS, strong CS fundamentals, and excellent communication. This position is based in South Jakarta with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering in distributed systems using Go and ReactJS.
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with running large-scale web services; understanding of systems internals and networking.
• Strong understanding of system performance and scaling.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities with growth and stability focus.
• English proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance services in Go with high availability and scalability.

Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.

Work closely with infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services as well as performing root cause analysis investigations.

Minimum and Technical Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment using Go programming language and ReactJS.

Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.

Familiarity with running large scale web services; understanding of systems internals and networking are a necessary.

Strong understanding of system performance and scaling.

Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
