Job summary

PT Lentera Bangsa Benderang is seeking a skilled backend engineer to work on Go-based services and React web applications. You will design, implement, and optimize distributed systems that serve millions of users across Southeast Asia, while collaborating with product and infrastructure teams.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Go and ReactJS, strong CS fundamentals, and excellent communication. This position is based in South Jakarta with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering in distributed systems using Go and ReactJS.
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with running large-scale web services; understanding of systems internals and networking.
• Strong understanding of system performance and scaling.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities with growth and stability focus.
• English proficiency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance services in Go with high availability and scalability.
• Build modern web apps using React, Redux, Webpack, ES6, and Flow.
• Collaborate with engineering to design architectures for scale.
• Participate in code and design reviews to uphold standards.
• Engage in capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Define feature specifications with product and experience teams.
• Work with infrastructure to build and scale back-end services.
• Design, build, analyze and fix large-scale systems.
• Learn full-stack performance tuning and optimization.
• Debug and modify production software serving millions in SE Asia.
