Job summary

BINAR Academy seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE leader to drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible, and to optimize the SDLC with advanced deployment strategies. You will own monitoring, log management, and incident response for on-call engineers.

The role requires 8–10 years in DevOps/SRE, deep containerization skills with Kubernetes/Docker and public clouds (AWS, GCP, Huawei Cloud), plus strong scripting (Python, Bash) and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology.
• 8–10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, and/or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Huawei Cloud).
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, cybersecurity principles, and certificate/encryption management.
• Proven track record in managing high-traffic systems and executing zero-downtime migrations.
• Prior experience in transportation or logistics startups is a strong plus.
• Available to start as soon as possible and willing to work from Head Office in Mampang, South Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and others for scalable infrastructure management.

• Design and maintain monitoring/alerting, log management, and incident response readiness for on-call engineers.
• Drive cloud cost optimization by applying best practices and selecting cost-effective configurations.
• Ensure high availability with redundancy across technical systems and team knowledge.
• Collaborate with InfoSec to patch critical CVEs at infrastructure and container levels.
• Manage and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with clear response procedures.
• Mentor team members to improve processes and reinforce industry best practices.

• Manage and actively participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, ensuring the team is well-prepared to respond to production incidents with clear and effective procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or Information Technology
