Job summary

EY in Jakarta seeks a motivated Assurance professional to join our team. You will help provide confidence to investors by ensuring timely, relevant, and accurate financial information, and you will be trained on our global audit methodology.

You will work with insurance clients, leveraging PSAK/IFRS knowledge, and engage with teams on digital audit and automation initiatives. The role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and fluency in English, with the ability to interact

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with minimum GPA of 3.00 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PSAK and IFRS is preferred.
• Auditing experience in insurance companies with familiarity of PSAK 117.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people at all levels.
• Full proficiency in English is mandatory for both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What will you do in Assurance?

As part of our Assurance practice, you will help to provide confidence to investors by ensuring they receive timely, relevant, and accurate financial information. You will be trained using our audit methodology and process that is used globally throughout the firm and you will learn business insights that will become a valuable foundation for your entire career. You will work with various clients within large state-owned enterprises, multinational, as well as local companies which will provide challenging and enriching career development for you. Lastly, you will embark on using latest audit initiatives such as digital audit and automation developed by the firm globally.

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with minimum GPA of 3.00 or equivalent from a reputable institution; advanced degree would be a bonus.
• Accounting knowledge, with focus on PSAK and IFRS is preferred.
• Familiar and have auditing experience of insurance companies and have knowledge and understanding on PSAK 117 and/or have accounting advisory project experience in implementation of PSAK 117.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people at all professional levels.
• Full proficiency in English is mandatory for both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while persistently maintaining quality.
