Ernst & Young is seeking an entry-level Assurance professional to join our Jakarta team. You will work with diverse clients, learning our audit methodology and digital audit initiatives while focusing on delivering reliable financial information.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration with teams across levels. Prior auditing experience with insurance clients and PSAK/IFRS familiarity is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with minimum GPA of 3.00 or equivalent from a reputable institution; advanced degree would be a bonus.
• Accounting knowledge, with focus on PSAK and IFRS is preferred.
• Auditing experience of insurance companies and knowledge on PSAK 117 or related advisory experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for dealing with people at all levels.
• Full proficiency in English is mandatory for both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Help provide confidence to investors by ensuring timely, relevant, and accurate financial information.
• Be trained in EY audit methodology and digital audit initiatives.
• Work with various clients including state-owned enterprises, multinationals, and local companies to gain diverse experience.
