Fresh Graduate Program 2027 - Subsurface

Mubadala Energy Fresh Graduate Program is an internship program with excellent ways to gain exposure and working experience in an international Oil and Gas Company, as well as an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. The program will start in the beginning of 2027 up to 31 December 2027.

Responsibilities include but not limited:

• Support subsurface studies and projects across Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, and Reservoir Engineering disciplines.
• Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing subsurface, geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and reservoir datasets.
• Support geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering activities, including interpretation, mapping, reservoir characterization, formation evaluation, and field development studies.
• Gain exposure to seismic interpretation, reservoir evaluation, production analysis, reserves estimation, and subsurface visualization workflows.
• Participate in technical discussions, multidisciplinary workshops, and project review sessions with subsurface, wells, and facilities teams.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, data summaries, and project documentation.
• Utilize digital tools and software to support subsurface analysis and interpretation activities.
• Contribute to assigned projects and subsurface improvement initiatives.
• Deliver presentations and share key learnings throughout the internship program.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• This Program is Open to Fresh Graduates & Early Career Professionals (Maximum 1 Year Experience, Internship included)
• Fresh graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or other relevant subsurface disciplines.
• Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.20 out of 4.00
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present technical information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong interest in subsurface disciplines, including Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, and Reservoir Engineering.
• Familiarity with subsurface, data analytics, or related technical software through academic projects, coursework, research, internships, or extracurricular activities is an advantage.
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, professionalism, integrity, and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Participation in student organizations, technical societies, leadership activities, research projects, competitions, fieldwork, or other extracurricular experiences demonstrating teamwork and initiative will be an advantage.
