Job summary

PT.Pratama Abadi Industri is seeking a Pattern Engineer to develop, review, and optimize footwear upper patterns to meet manufacturability and quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sample development, commercialization, and mass production readiness.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in Pattern/Process Engineering within footwear manufacturing, solid knowledge of footwear construction and CAD pattern systems, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pattern Engineering, Product Engineering, or Process Engineering within footwear manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of footwear construction, pattern development, and production processes.
• Experience in sample development, commercialization, and production support is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD pattern systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and optimize footwear upper patterns to ensure manufacturability, product quality, and compliance with technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sample development, commercialization, and mass production readiness.
• Identify and resolve pattern-related production issues while driving continuous process improvements for quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
