Job summary
Unilever is seeking a Foods Greater Asia & Indonesia - Logistics Procurement Manager to lead and optimize logistics spend across transportation, warehousing, pallets and related freight services for Indonesia and the Greater Asia region.
You will develop multi-year sourcing strategies, run tenders, and drive cost efficiency, service quality and resilience while coordinating with Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and Sustainability teams.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of logistics procurement or supply-chain experience across Indonesia, Greater Asia, regional networks or complex logistics categories.
- Broad knowledge of transportation, warehousing, pallets, domestic distribution, import/export logistics, customs, cross-border flows.
- Strong sourcing, negotiation and contracting capability, including rates, fuel and inflation indexation, service levels and cost models.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen across network cost models, lane benchmarks and savings.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Greater Asia and Indonesia logistics procurement agenda across transportation, warehousing, pallets and relevant freight services.
- Develop multi-year sourcing and supplier strategies balancing service, cost and resilience.
- Lead tenders, negotiations and contracts with logistics providers across costs, capacity, and performance.
- Own provider performance, risk, value delivery and continuity while aligning cross-functionally on priorities.
