Job summary

TikTok is seeking an FMCG Category Strategy Project Intern to support strategic projects and day-to-day initiatives within the Category Strategy team. You will partner with Strategy Leads, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to translate data and insights into actionable business solutions in a fast-growing e-commerce environment.

You will gain exposure to seller management, livestreaming, campaigns, subsidies, and platform programs while developing your analytical, proactive mindset

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with min. GPA of 3.3 (out of 4)
• Able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period
• Good Excel knowledge [Vlookup, Sumif, Pivot table, etc]
• Good analytical thinker
• Comfortable with data processing
• An outstanding appreciation for accuracy of information and clean, perfect formatting
• Highly motivated to learn about social commerce, enthusiastic and shows initiative

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end execution of FMCG strategic projects (execution & implementation, progress monitoring)
• Conduct data analysis and business diagnostics to identify trends, key issues, and growth opportunities across FMCG.
• Support the development of data-driven recommendations and action plans to address business challenges.
• Conduct market, competitor, and seller research to generate relevant business insights.
• Monitor and track project KPIs, targets, and progress, ensuring timely follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to drive project execution and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Support seller-related initiatives and programs, including seller research, program tracking, and execution.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing processes and operational efficiency.
• Take on ad-hoc strategic projects and analyses based on evolving business priorities.
