Job summary

World Vision is seeking a Project Officer to lead day-to-day planning and implementation of the Flores Earthquake Emergency Response in East Nusa Tenggara. You will serve as the primary community mobilizer, supporting activities and providing technical assistance to community groups and partners.

The role focuses on safeguarding, gender inclusion, and engagement with villages, schools, churches, health facilities, and local authorities to restore services and livelihoods after the Flores

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating emergency response project activities.
• Ability to collect field information and support planning.
• Experience with safeguarding, gender inclusion and community engagement.
• Strong coordination with village governments, schools and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support detailed activity plans and schedules for Emergency Response project activities.
• Collect field information, assessment findings, and community feedback to support planning.
• Identify village and school priorities for disaster preparedness and resilience interventions.
• Coordinate with village governments, schools, and community groups during planning processes.
• Develop monthly and quarterly implementation plans and monitor progress.
• Report emerging issues, risks, or changes in community conditions; ensure safeguarding in planning activities.
