Job summary

Grab Bali is seeking a Fleet Lead to oversee the availability, safety, quality, utilization, and operational readiness of 2W and 4W fleets. You will ensure vehicles are ready for deployment, properly maintained, and safely operated, with a focus on maximizing rental revenue and efficient handovers across pools, checkpoints, workshops, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 5+ years in a similar field.
• Experience in scheduled maintenance, body repairs, cost estimation, and vendor/workshop quality control.
• Proficient in GPS tracking and analyzing fleet metrics to optimize operations.
• Experience in managing operational budgets and driver/vehicle cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor handover, deployment, unit status, pool operation, and fleet allocation.
• Conduct physical inspections and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, turnaround times, and escalations.
• Coordinate with workshops, vendors, drivers, checkpoint team, and pool operations.
• Monitor fleet utilization, idle units, repair costs, and efficiency; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain fleet dashboards, operating standards, and issue tracking.

Get to Know the Role

The Fleet lead will oversee the availability, safety, quality, utilization, and operational readiness vehicle 2W and 4W.

The role is critical to ensure vehicle are ready for deployment and rental. The vehicle must be properly maintained and safety operated, repaired and returned to service within target timelines. The role also involves effectively utilizing the vehicle to maximize rental revenue. Finally, the role requires managing consistently across pools, checkpoint, workshop, and vendor.

Reporting to the Manager, you will be based onsite in our Bali Pool.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Monitor handover, deployment, unit status, pool operation, and fleet allocation.
• Conduct physical inspection, enforce quality control standards, and ensure units meet safety and operational requirements.
• Manage preventive maintenance, repair progress, turnaround time, and escalation of delayed cases.
• Coordinate with workshops, vendors, drivers, checkpoint team, and pool operations.
• Monitor fleet utilization, idle units, idle units, repair cost, and operational efficiency, implement corrective actions where needs.
• Maintain fleet dashboards, operating standards, issue tracking, and regular performance reporting.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any major
• At least 5 years of experience in the similar field
• Experience in scheduled maintenance, body repairs, cost estimation, and vendor/workshop quality control.
• Proficient in GPS tracking and analyzing fleet metrics (CPK, fuel efficiency, availability, and driver behavior) to optimize operations.
• Experience in managing operational budgets, tracking vehicle expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Knowledge of transport regulations, vehicle licensing/permits (KIR, STNK, ASK), and end-to-end insurance claim management.
• Prior leadership experience, and hands on experience in managing emergency breakdowns or accidents.
