Job summary

Esco Lifesciences Group in Indonesia is seeking a Firmware Engineer to lead embedded system integration and develop robust firmware for next-generation products.

You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, create documentation, and ensure quality, testing, and timely delivery. A Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering and 2+ years of embedded experience are required; C/C++ and UNIX/Linux are essential; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering with embedded systems focus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Strong UNIX/Linux knowledge and experience with embedded microcontrollers.
• Experience with SCM tools: SVN, Git, Jira, Mantis, Serena.

Responsibilities

• Lead the system integration of new embedded system products.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to meet specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for system integration testing and tech transfer.
• Develop firmware documentation including requirements, design, coding, verification, and validation plans.
• Create and verify hardware/software reference manuals for sustainability and ease of use.
• Manage projects to ensure timely delivery and deadlines.
