Job summary

StraitsX in Jakarta is seeking Software Engineers who want to shape fintech infrastructure. You’ll build systems powering reporting, reconciliation, and automation for financial flows.

Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Data, and Compliance, owning projects end-to-end and learning how technology preserves hundreds of millions in liquidity. You’ll implement real-time monitoring and design scalable services that keep digital finance running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1 year of software engineering experience or fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Golang.
• Strong data analysis skills: BigQuery, SQL optimization, dbt.
• SQL and database design expertise.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in microservices.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build reporting platforms that ensure compliance and precision.
• Develop dashboards and monitoring systems for assets vs. liabilities.
• Create automated reconciliation across internal and external financial systems.
• Generate journal and ledger entries into ERP and treasury platforms.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Data, and Compliance on scalable solutions.
• Implement real-time monitoring and anomaly detection for treasury operations.
