KPMG Indonesia is inviting talented professionals to join our Financial Risk Management team, delivering solutions across credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk.

You will work on regulatory risk, market and treasury risk, operational risk, and credit risk, helping clients identify and manage complex risk exposures. We value strong communication in English and Indonesian, solid analytical skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality materials and insights to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field with GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in consulting or financial services.
• Strong background across risk areas beyond credit risk; climate risk is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian with clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to develop high-quality materials and deliverables (PPT, Excel, reports).

Responsibilities

• Work on Regulatory Risk, Market & Treasury Risk, Operational Risk, and Credit Risk projects.
• Support model design, validation, reporting, and governance activities.
• Develop regulatory readiness materials including ICAAP where applicable.
• Prepare client-facing presentations and written analyses.

About the job

We invite all highly motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Financial Risk Management team, where you will deliver solution in the area of credit risk, market risk, liquidity and operation risk.

KPMG’s Financial Risk Management helps to identify, provide advice and guidance on how to manage risks inherent in financial business processes and its impacted business strategy. We work closely with regulators and keep up with market practice as well as offering forward thinking technology-based solution that will support Client’s business objectives.

What you will do:

You will have the chance to work on various financial risk area, including:

Regulatory Risk

• Regulatory and Economic Capital Management
• Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting
• Integrated/ Conglomerate Risk Management
• Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP)
• Resolution & Recovery Plans
• Enterprise-wide Risk and Islamic Banking
• Regulatory Readiness Assistance

Market & Treasury Risk

• Target Operating Models (TOM) for treasury and assistance on treasury system implementation
• Model development, usage and governance
• Market Risk Management
• Balance Sheet and Liquidity Risk Management including ALM
• Commodity and Energy Market Risk Management
• Derivative Valuations

Operational Risk

• Operational Risk TOM development including ILD, ELD and Scenario Analysis
• KRI and RCSA development and Implementation
• Risk Infrastructure development including operational risk systems

Credit Risk

• Credit risk scoring model design and development
• Credit risk model validation
• Credit risk process reviews
• Collateral Management
• Loan Provisioning

Desired skills & experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within a consulting firm or financial services environment
• Strong background in financial risk management, particularly in areas beyond credit risk (e.g., market, liquidity, operational, regulatory, or treasury risk). Exposure to climate risk is considered an advantage
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
• Proficiency in developing high-quality materials and deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, and written reports, with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
