Job summary

PT Aneka Interniaga Gemilang, based in Jakarta, is seeking a Finance, Tax & Accounting Manager to lead financial accounting, tax compliance and reporting. The role ensures accurate records and timely financial information for stakeholders and management.

Ideal candidates have 5-7 years post-qualification experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and IFRS knowledge; CA is desirable. You will oversee ERP, tax filings and audits in a dynamic corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA or equivalent accounting credential is highly desirable.
• 5-7 years post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting in corporate environment.
• Substantial experience in Indonesian tax compliance: CIT, VAT, payroll tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or local accounting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements per accounting standards.
• Managing full accounting cycle: AP, AR, GL, reconciliations.
• Ensuring tax compliance and timely filings at local and national levels.
• Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimise tax position.
• Managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting policies.
• Supervising accounting staff and ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Providing financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

About the role

PT Aneka Interniaga Gemilang is seeking a Finance, Tax & Accounting Manager to join our organisation. This is a pivotal role based in Jakarta, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health and compliance of our company. As Finance, Tax & Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting operations, tax compliance, and reporting functions. This position is critical to ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and the provision of timely financial information to stakeholders and management.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Managing the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and reconciliation processes
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing timely tax filings and returns at local and national levels
• Developing and implementing tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position
• Managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities, and addressing any audit queries or compliance matters
• Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets
• Supervising accounting staff and ensuring adherence to accounting procedures and best practices
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the finance function
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent accounting credential is highly desirable
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting within a commercial or corporate environment
• Substantial experience in Indonesian tax compliance, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT) and payroll tax obligations
• Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or relevant local accounting standards
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders
• Leadership capability and experience supervising accounting teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet modelling
