Job summary

PT AUCMA INDONESIA INDUSTRY is seeking a cost accountant for our manufacturing operations in Indonesia. You will manage product costing, BOMs, and cost centers, and ensure accurate month-end closes and reporting. English is used for financial reporting unless Chinese proficiency allows relaxing English requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in cost accounting, a bachelor’s in accounting, and SAP experience. On-site work and local manufacturing exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on cost accounting experience in manufacturing; on-site factory cost accounting preferred.
• If Chinese proficiency is present, English requirements may be relaxed; otherwise English is working language.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost allocation methods (BOMs, work orders, WIP, scrap).
• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting and tax rules (PSAK, Faktur Pajak) is preferred; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full production cost accounting process: capture direct materials, direct labor, overhead, and compute product/work order costs.
• Maintain cost accounting master data (materials, BOMs, processes, cost centers) and monitor cost accumulation and distribution logic in SAP.
• Complete monthly cost closes, prepare cost reports and variance analyses; provide cost improvement recommendations to management.
• Reconcile material issuance, FG receipt, scrap losses, and outsourcing entries; track WIP for accurate recording.
• Analyze cost variances (material, WIP, expenses) and produce variance analysis reports; perform other finance tasks as assigned.
