Job summary

Mekari in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Finance Operations Lead to guide revenue, billing, collections, and reporting while driving a high-performing finance team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and 4+ years in auditing (Big4 or tech). You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to embed financial insights in business decisions and SOPs to scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across functions
• Oversee daily financial activities including billing, payments, and reconciliations
• Own revenue operations, tracking, recognition and reporting
• Drive accounts receivable collections and cash flow optimization
• Manage monthly close and reporting with analytics and insights
• Develop, implement and enforce finance SOPs for consistency and scalability
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to embed finance considerations in decisions

Job Description:

• Lead & Develop Team: Manage and grow a high-performing team across multiple functions, ensuring clear roles, efficient workflows, and continuous development.
• Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure smooth execution of daily financial activities including billing, payments, and reconciliations with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Own Revenue Operations: Lead revenue tracking, recognition, and reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Drive Collections Performance: Monitor accounts receivable and lead collection strategies to improve collection rates, and maintain healthy cash flow.
• Manage Closing & Reporting: Oversee monthly closing for revenue and receivables, and deliver clear management reports including financial metrics, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
• Build & Enforce SOPs: Develop, implement, and continuously improve finance SOPs to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
• Optimize Processes: Identify and implement improvements in systems and workflows to drive automation, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and other teams to provide financial insights and ensure finance considerations are embedded in business and system decisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Auditing, especially Big4 Company / Tech Company.
• Proven teamwork and leadership experience.
• Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools (Microsoft & Gsuite).
• Have good initiative in working, detail oriented and excellent analytical thinking.
• Comfortable and confident speaking to mid-level and senior executives.
